Well, I'm going to run a in the Mercedes Half-marathon.

My friend Kierstyn and I began our training today. We plan to run a 5k in 7 weeks and 10k in 10 weeks. Then, we plan to continue our training to the Mercedes in February.

Races I plan on running:

Graystone 5k
Race for the cure (5k)
Vulcan Run (10k)

i just need a break

I have been writing this History paper for about four weeks... It is so hard to get things done when you know that you have other things you have to do as well. I moved most of my things home today. I still have a lot of crap still in the dorm. I have to make an A on my history final... ugh... Im stating to have dreams about my trip to Europe and I guess thats the only time my brain will give me to think about it because I know I haven't had time to think about it during the day. I think that when I get on the plane I just may pass out from exhaustion. I will have been up for about 4 days straight. oh yeah, thats right. i don't plan on sleeping from here on until I am on that plane. I know it may sound silly, but you gotta do what you gotta do. this blog may not make sense but i hope you can read it.

I miss you so much!

My last day of classes was yesterday. And, now all I have to worry about is juries on friday, writing two papers before monday, and my Music History final monday and lastly, my Music Theory final on tuesday. and I leave that afternoon! AH I haven't even been able to think about leaving. there is just too much to do here. I think I'm just going to pass out. I miss you and I hope you are having fun in Hawaii!

Last night we had our Spring concert! It was awesome! Ashlee said that it was the best that she had ever heard and she knows because she has been to every concert since I started at UAB. She said that she could tell that we were headed to a huge competition and she felt the fire in us! I'm excited about going... it just hasn't sunk in yet... there is still too much to do. I think it will actually sink in 1. while I'm packing. or 2. when I'm on the plane. There is just to much to think about first before I can think about the trip.

I'm glad to hear that you are headed to Hawaii... that means that you are closer to home. And, you being closer to home means that I am closer to getting to see your face! I miss you so much! I really really REALLY hope that you can stay here until i get home even if it is for just a day. I miss you so much, I don't think I could take it, knowing that you are back in the country and I cant take a trip to Charleston to see you... I'm taking 10 hours this summer in hopes of graduating may 09. Ah! It is such a scary thought. I dont know what I'm going to do with myself. well, I love you and be safe in Hawaii and enjoy it! It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

I love getting post cards from you! they make my day so much better! I leave for Europe April 29th and will come back May 28th... I don't want to miss you! so, about this sky diving thing... My friend jenny wants to go sky diving and bungee jumping in Germany I only committed to bungee... sky diving just freaks me out. there is just something not right about jumping out of planes plus i dont even really like flying... it scares me. but if you have the opportunity i would take it. I'm getting my hair cut on friday... thats about the only thing exciting going on in my life at this moment. right now my hair is to the middle of my back. I'm cutting 11 inches off and giving it to locks of love. Jill is too. there is a lot to do before i can leave for Ireland. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!! I cant wait for you to get home!

I bet you are having the time of your life! I miss you SO much! Not too much has been going on here. We went to see Spamalot yesterday. It was so funny! This month is going to jam-packed with stuff to do. I have to move home, take my finals early, write a few papers, and go to Ireland. All in this month. So, I miss you. I hate the fact that I'm going to miss your 21st birthday. I hate the fact that when you get home... I'm not going to be here. Hi Best Friend!

yesterday I went fishing for the first time! It was so much fun! my friend Jenny has this pond behind her house and she took me and Joey, Ashlee, and her boy... I didnt catch anything... but I did have 2 nibbles. Ashlee caught 2 brim. I really miss you and wish you could come home now! next weekend and that week is spring break and Ashlee and I are going to her house! and THE BEACH! I know Its not as exciting as taking a tug-boat across the Pacific to see you or as exciting as wherever you are now... but it will be fun just the same! I love you and miss you VERY MUCH!!!

I bet it is scary in all that bad weather more so that you are on a big boat! Spring break is coming up for me and I am working on getting that tug-boat! I think it would take me a long time to tug my way to you and I only have one week. well, back to the weather, we had bad weather last night. I woke up around 3:15 AM (and thanks to Mr. Jason Eversull that time is a very scary time) but anyway... while living on the 9th floor has its advantages, it also has its disadvantages. Sometimes the wind gets so bad that it pulls the stair well door open and then makes all the doors in the Hall shake and make loud banging noises. It's not always a problem, just annoying, but last night our RA came and woke us all up and told us to get in the hall because there was a tornado watch. usually we have to go to the 1st and 2nd floors but the wind was so bad in the stairwell that we couldn't get down there. finally the wind calmed down and the loud speaker came on and it told us to go to the bottom two floors. so, Ashlee and I debated whether we should go down or not. we did and they kept us down there until 4:30 in the morning. I then couldn't get back to sleep until almost 5. We were going to go work out this morning but when my alarm went off I was so freaking tired I just couldn't get out of bed.

I looked up that little Island of the coast of Madagascar that you are going to or at at now... SO Jealous! It looks so beautiful! well, I guess I will go eat lunch now... maybe take a nap. I love you and miss you!!!!

First, I'm going to be unselfish and say that I hope you are having a fabulous time in Mauritius :) But the real focus of this particular message is to tell you that I miss your crazy self. Nanny, Mark and Nolan were in town this week. we went ice skating, to the space and rocket center, we made a pizza from scratch, played Apples to Apples. we just did a whole bunch of fun things! AH! It really been bothering me...

Different illnesses have been going around like the flu, strepp, and bronchitis. This week, a big percent of the choir has been affected by these illnesses so they have not been able to sing with us. (WE MISS YOU!) The past few days the people who are still singing have been struggling. (We are tired too, and we dont have all off our numbers) well, I have seen some of the people sitting on the side making faces of disgust while we are singing. This really upsets me and hurts my feelings because we are trying our best and when I see faces like that not only is it distracting but it undermines our efforts. I know some chords dont lock in right away, but the faces of disgust are just uncalled for.
