and I'm back in the game

Its 3 days until Christmas, and I'm ready. My Grandparents just got here today,my Dad's parents, they drive up every year from Naples Florida. This is the 12th year they have been coming. I'm very glad they can be here for Christmas. I did well in school this past fall. I didn't make my goal of getting a 3.0 I got a 2.97 AH SO CLOSE! but next semester i WILL get a 3.0! GOSH DARN IT! I know I told a lot of you that I was going with the choir to Europe, but that is no longer true. sad yet i get to keep my money! I'm still dating Joey! We have been dating for 1 year and 4 months. I love him.... I guess... Just kidding! I DO LOVE HIM!!! Thank God the College football espn pick'em is over. I didn't finish in the top anything but I finished without missing a week! Yay me. I still teach at mountain brook baptist church teaching 4 year olds! we just had our parent open house and they did great! they sign language to away in a manger, the flea song, and joey did a rhythm activity with them.

So, I really wanted this solo we are doing in Chamber Singers called David of the White Rock Arranged by Ben Parry. The begining of the song is the solo singing Welsh. So, therefore i've been brushing up on my welsh. Practice... makes welsh.

Classes have started. I'm taking mostly music classes. I am taking Math 110. The classes are going well. my goal is to get all A's.

Ok, so my family went to Regis and Kelly while we were in New York and my mom was the lucky audience member who won $500 to linens n' things and if you saw the tape and or show you saw how funny she was when she won. So, yesterday she got a call and it was the show telling her she was up for an award. Apparently they have their own Emmy awards and MY MOM is up for the real people award! The show will air on September 1st and after the show people are supposed to vote! So everyone has to get all their friends and try to help my mom win this award!!!

I told Charles that I would write a blog for him... well, as him... but I just don't have the strength or the intellect. he told me I would have to use big words, but I just cant do it! I don't have the power! so, Charles, I'm sorry.

so, I haven't really blogged in a while and for that I am sorry.

Ashlee is going to move in with me for the summer and I am so excited! its going to be great fun. the reason she is going to live me is because she is getting a job here in Birmingham with my mom at Medical Towers. It is going to be great fun

I have never been so moved by a movie that tears would not stop rolling down my cheek. Last night i saw United 93. The movie is the story of the takeoff and hijacking of United Airlines Flight 93 by terrorists, the discovery by passengers with cell phones that other hijacked planes had been steered into the World Trade Center towers, and the realization that their plane was being steered toward Washington D.C. In the movie it shows the second plain hit the tower and at that moment I got chills. then, when the passengers were on their phones, telling their family good bye and that they love them... I heart broke for them and for their familys. I cannot imagine what that would be like and I never want to feel that. after the movie, I wanted to call all my friends and tell them how much they meant to me and how much I love them. so, to everyone I know... I love you and I'm glad that God put you in my life and you all mean so much to me that I can not even begin to tell you. Thank you for being there for me.

i know it has been a very long time and i know you all missed me so much that you couldn't even stand it any more... well enough of all that nonsense.
i went to a wedding this past weekend and i have to say, that it was one of the most beautiful weddings that i have ever been to. it was outside in a garden and the weather was AMAZING! and the bride's dress was stunning, and everything was just so awesome! the reception was so much fun too! (oh yeah it was my roommates mom who got married) Ashlee, my roommate, and i danced (and Ashlee, yeah, she doesn't dance...) it was so much fun! and while we were down there we went to the beach and jumped in the ocean with all our clothes on and such! i had a blast!

this weekend my cousin is coming in town from Massachusetts she is coming in town for Easter and so I'm going to take her out on the town.

has anyone seen that show about the inventors? well, i watched it last night and it was very emotional. when i saw the preview i thought it was going to be like American idol for inventors, but it's not. it was kind of intense.

i got a job for the summer... i will be life guarding at brookhighland racquet club! i was a lifeguard there for 3 years and then last year i was late telling them i wanted to work there and when i did call they told me that they already had all their guards... SO i went to work at the rec center. so now im going back to work there!

i cant wait for the summer! yay!

well i have to say! AUBURN was so much BETTER than ALABAMA!

Friday after voice class... me, Sam, Erin, Charles, and Chris went to throw the football at the "mini park"... (i still don't know why they call it the mini park... it must not be worthy enough to be called just the park. but what do i know? i don't know) after that Chris and I drove to Kierstyn's house and from there we left for Auburn. when we got to auburn we couldn't really find Greg so wen went out to eat and then we found Greg and he took us to an AU singers party... it was pretty fun. Chris and i wanted some sprees so Kierstyn took us to the gas station to get our candy. after the party kind of died we went to Tara's apartment. we all were kind of tired so we crashed there til morning.

Saturday morning we got up and went to get food for a picnic and then went to chewacalla park. it was so nice outside and beautiful there. we met up with Mary Wheeler and Patrick Stewart. we took pictures. then we came home! it was a great time!



today i went to see Little shop of horrors at John Carroll... Jane and Matt were AWESOME!!! great job to every one! i loved it!

i got to spend so much time with joey saturday and sunday! i loved it! i can't wait until spring break when i get to spend about a week with him! I LOVE YOU Joey!!!

ok so, i had a cold last week and well, quite frankly, it sucked. Ashlee and Caleb came into the dorm on Wednesday and I was all passed out on the couch and yeah! they took a picture... of me being all sick... MEAN! but I'm over it. so this week... the high is not going under 65, and sunny everyday and to me that's just a tease because i love this kind of weather and living in Alabama, its like this for a week and then it either starts to rain or it gets cold or both... and that sucks because being in college and living on campus I walk everywhere. MEAN AGAIN! today was great!

I woke up next to my best friend, Kierstyn(she is in town for her spring break) then i went to lunch, then I went with Chris and Sam to practice for Chamber... BUT, we didn't have chamber. me Sam and Charles then ran into Dr. Copeland and i said hey! HEY DR. COPELAND! (said with much enthusiasm) so we decided to go throw the football in the mini park. - why do they call it the mini park? is there a bigger park here at UAB? oh well. it was so nice outside today i love it! oh yeah Clay played too and Erin read for her "pop test". i love all you guys! Sam, Charles, Clay, Erin! you guys are my favorites!

Saturday and Sunday Joey and I got to hang out! we haven't really just hung out and not do anything! it was really nice to just me and him have fun. i have missed him because he has been all busy because of school and all. I love you joey!

so i went to Tuscaloosa Friday with Kierstyn and i thought i had friends there but i guess they don't like me any more. because no one wanted let us stay with them. and they didn't invite us anywhere. they were all like, well, we are going to this party what are you guys doing? and kierstyn and I were like... Uh... well, we don't know what to do... so we went home at like 10:30 p.m. and well, to me, that's just not cool. BUT! i love Kierstyn! and i love my UAB friends! and I LOVE JOEY! so, BAM!

so, this weekend Kierstyn and i are going to see if people at Auburn still like us!

i cant tell you all how much fun i had this past week in WV. i got to know some really cool people and i found out the the Florida State choir scares me.

Wednesday i woke up so friggin' early and Sam and i walked to the bus to leave for WV...(yes, we walked from camp to the hulsey center with our luggage.)we were not even ten minutes into the trip when Sam and i fell asleep. not a restful sleep though... it was as comfortable as one could get on a bus. we finally got to WV and went straight to the Clay Center to practice waling on stage. after that we went to Chili's for dinner. then it was off to bed for we were to awake early the next morning.

Thursday we got up and went to sing at the Clay Center and right as we were about to walk on stage the fire alarm went off and we all had to go stand outside in the cold! can you believe it! yeah we couldn't either. but, after that we went on and sang and did a great job! Maggie's solo was great and we got a standing ovation. the rest of the day was up to us to have fun! i had a great time hanging out with Erin, Sam, Charles, Clay, Martin, Chris R on the ride home... and a few others.

i have finally found someone who can carry on a conversation with only using quotes! and that to me is surprising! Charles! on the way back to Birmingham we quoted movies and shows... and when we weren't quoting movies or shows... we were quoting ourselves. (NATION.... ALLITY!)
it was great fun!

i have to say that was a great trip and i got to know many people. I'm sad that i will not get to see many of them because we don't have choir this week but i will get to see some on Monday... and that makes me happy!

i spent 3 days straight with you guys... and you would think that i would be tired of you all... but the truth is, these past 2 days i have missed you all SO MUCH!!

I want to thank all of you who posted… those I know and those I don’t. I know that most of you said that I don’t really write much, and this I know is true. The reason for this is… I don’t really feel like there is anything I feel strongly enough about to write. When I do post a blog, it is just because I haven’t in a long while and I just put something down and post a picture. And, the only way I get comments is because I post a “would you rather” and usually the only person who posts comments is Joey, my boyfriend, and he already knows what I am going to write before I write it.
Another reason I don’t post often is because if I do have an opinion and I try to blog about it I just come off as mean or something I’m not. I’m not the best writer in the world… and I just do not want to come off as an ignorant person. Not that I don’t want to step on any toes… OH! Because I’ll step on your toes! I’m just so freakin’ ADD that I start to ramble and by the end of the blog, I have no idea what I started out posting.
Now, having said that… I would like to know what you people want from my blog. I know my writing is hard to understand sometimes, because I write like I talk. But, you know what? So do a lot of people! So, step off! I’ll tell you about my day, but everyday is pretty much the same. Just adding and subtracting classes. I could tell you about my weekend, but I lead a very boring life. Plus, it feels like the only person reading my blog is Joey and I spend my weekend with him. Although, I could tell you about the adventures of J-A-C… (This stands for J-Jackie, A- Ashlee, and C-Caleb) There is at least one of those a week. The adventures are usually the type that you just have to be there. I think that my best writing is when I’m really upset and I write in my notebook. I have never shared that with anyone. Moreover, I don’t think I ever will. I could tell you about my past, and who I was before a lot of you knew me. I was a totally different person back in high school. I know I am talking about it as if it was so long ago but it really was. I have changed so much and come a long way.
I know most of you are probably thinking, GEZZ Jackie, write about whatever the hell you want! Well, ultimately I will. I just want to get your opinion on things.

ok so...

this week is going to be one of the hardest weeks EVER!!!

today was wet, cold, and I COULDNT SEE JOEY!!!

today was also mine and joey's 6th month annaversary yay! HAPPY DAY! but at the same time... not so HAPPY day... i didnt get to see him. see, this week is mid term week and i want him to do well so i want to let him study. but i have to say, ITS KILLING ME!!! I MISS HIM SO MUCH!!! becasue i LOVE him!!

Today, Ashlee is being a whiny butt. She is lying in her bed whining. Yes, I know this is redundant but I had to say it to get my point across.
Today is my sister, Jillian, well, today is her birthday. Today, Ashlee is being lazy. She is lying in her bed, being lazy.
Last night, Ashlee stole flamingo from me… I will but up posters, say that she has stolen him and wants a ransom this in my eyes is not cool. I miss my poor flamingo and I am sure he misses me… that little pink ball of fun. The other night flamingo fell of the bed.
It was quite funny. We laughed at him and then took a picture. That same night Ashlee stole my gummy bears and stuck them to her head. I laughed and then stuck one to my head... and then I took a picture. I know what you are thinking right about now…..... WOW, I wish I could stick gummy bears to my forehead. Well, do I have news for you! YOU CAN! Therefore, that is about all I can say about that.

Joey, if you are reading this… hahaha… I really had nothing to say… I just wanted to laugh!
