I bet it is scary in all that bad weather more so that you are on a big boat! Spring break is coming up for me and I am working on getting that tug-boat! I think it would take me a long time to tug my way to you and I only have one week. well, back to the weather, we had bad weather last night. I woke up around 3:15 AM (and thanks to Mr. Jason Eversull that time is a very scary time) but anyway... while living on the 9th floor has its advantages, it also has its disadvantages. Sometimes the wind gets so bad that it pulls the stair well door open and then makes all the doors in the Hall shake and make loud banging noises. It's not always a problem, just annoying, but last night our RA came and woke us all up and told us to get in the hall because there was a tornado watch. usually we have to go to the 1st and 2nd floors but the wind was so bad in the stairwell that we couldn't get down there. finally the wind calmed down and the loud speaker came on and it told us to go to the bottom two floors. so, Ashlee and I debated whether we should go down or not. we did and they kept us down there until 4:30 in the morning. I then couldn't get back to sleep until almost 5. We were going to go work out this morning but when my alarm went off I was so freaking tired I just couldn't get out of bed.

I looked up that little Island of the coast of Madagascar that you are going to or at at now... SO Jealous! It looks so beautiful! well, I guess I will go eat lunch now... maybe take a nap. I love you and miss you!!!!

Dear Kierstyn,

First, I'm going to be unselfish and say that I hope you are having a fabulous time in Mauritius :) But the real focus of this particular message is to tell you that I miss your crazy self. That's right - I said it, and I mean what I say my friend. So, when you get back in the states, you, Me, Jackie - we need to spend some QT. Really though, I hope you're having a great time. It's pretty awesome that you have the opportunity to see so much - I'm just a tad jealous :) Have fun and be safe!

Hi friend!!! It's Jackie and today was a good day Ashlee and I went grocery shopping and we now have food! I've started going to the gym every morning i like it better than going at night. we split a bottle of Pinot Grigio and used your glasses that you gave me for my birthday! Thanks for the postcard!Im doing great! Im glad to hear you are having fun and playing with penguins! You made me smile when I heard from you! Joey and the Fam say hey! I miss you so much! Just the other day I was telling Ashlee that I miss you SO much because i have no idea when I'm going to get to see you next! I hate not knowing! but, I know that it will be soon so i guess i'll just have to wait. but it is so hard to wait! I miss you so much! I hate no being able to just call you up to tell you a stupid story! Nanny, Mark and Nolan were in town this week. we went ice skating, to the space and rocket center, we made a pizza from scratch, played Apples to Apples. we just did a whole bunch of fun things! AH! I miss you! well, I'm glad that you can read blogs! Now I'm going to write my blogs to you while you are away at sea! I Love you and study hard and most of all have fun!

It really been bothering me...

Different illnesses have been going around like the flu, strepp, and bronchitis. This week, a big percent of the choir has been affected by these illnesses so they have not been able to sing with us. (WE MISS YOU!) The past few days the people who are still singing have been struggling. (We are tired too, and we dont have all off our numbers) well, I have seen some of the people sitting on the side making faces of disgust while we are singing. This really upsets me and hurts my feelings because we are trying our best and when I see faces like that not only is it distracting but it undermines our efforts. I know some chords dont lock in right away, but the faces of disgust are just uncalled for.

It's Christmas Eve!

I hope everyone has a great next two days! I want to say that I am very thankful for all the friends that I have and am blessed to know! Merry Christmas to you all!

Having good friends

I think that having good friends is key in having a great life.

I like to think that I have GREAT friends. My best friend Kierstyn was in town this weekend and I loved it because I never get to see her. She lives in Charleston, SC... so far away from me. we have known each other since seventh grade but we really didn't become really good friends until senior year of high school. I have tons of good friends in the choir. They all get me through the day and make me smile! Chris Josof has been one of my best friends for a VERY long time. We met Freshmen year in high school and were friends ever since... with a few rocky times along the way, but what friendship hasen't been tested. I think that it's nice to have friends that you can just go to the park and play with and have a good time. It's getting to be so nice outside I recommend going out to play with your friends! I know I will.

Well, it's Saturday

I was reading my old blog posts, and laughing because I dont know how anyone could understand what I was trying to say. But, you all read it and somehow understood. So, it's Saturday and I'm just sitting on the couch with Joey watching Alabama play Ole Miss. I dont care who winns, it doesn't effect me in any way other than if Alabama loses and Joey is in a bad mood for a hott second. The only thing I care about with football is if I do well in my ESPN College pick'ems so far this year I haven't done so well but, what can I say most the teams they put on there I don't care about anyway. I start to care when I have no idea who to pick because no one team is consistent in their playing that I feel confident in picking them. So, I pick and hope for the best.

Last night I went to Wings with my brother Jason and my boyfriend Joey to watch the Red Sox play the Indians. When the waiter came to take our dink order I ordered a water and a MillerLite. The guy gave me this strange look and then said in an very unbelieving way, " You have ID?" That was the first time anyone who has served me alcohol gave me that look. The look saying "You have to be kidding, You look like you're 15" but whatever. Every time he came back to ask if i wanted another drink, he gave me this look that seemed to say, I still don't believe that you can be 21. Anyway, we went to Wings to watch the Sox play, needless to say, they won! 10-3 they play again tonight but I will be a UAB's Homecoming game against Tulane. My friend Caleb Cash Is in the Top 5 finalists for Mr. UAB! GO CALEB!! My family will be tailgating. It should be good fun. After wings last night Joey and I went to Wal-Mart to buy pumpkins. Then Kierstyn and Joey and I all went to Katie's to carve the pumpkins! Mine and Kierstyn's were special together but Joey's was the coolest one there! He carved the Nightmare before Chirstmas character Jack! Its so cool! There are pictures, I just don't have any... sorry, I'll try to get some posted soon.

Its 3 days until Christmas, and I'm ready. My Grandparents just got here today,my Dad's parents, they drive up every year from Naples Florida. This is the 12th year they have been coming. I'm very glad they can be here for Christmas. I did well in school this past fall. I didn't make my goal of getting a 3.0 I got a 2.97 AH SO CLOSE! but next semester i WILL get a 3.0! GOSH DARN IT! I know I told a lot of you that I was going with the choir to Europe, but that is no longer true. sad yet i get to keep my money! I'm still dating Joey! We have been dating for 1 year and 4 months. I love him.... I guess... Just kidding! I DO LOVE HIM!!! Thank God the College football espn pick'em is over. I didn't finish in the top anything but I finished without missing a week! Yay me. I still teach at mountain brook baptist church teaching 4 year olds! we just had our parent open house and they did great! they sign language to away in a manger, the flea song, and joey did a rhythm activity with them.

So, I really wanted this solo we are doing in Chamber Singers called David of the White Rock Arranged by Ben Parry. The begining of the song is the solo singing Welsh. So, therefore i've been brushing up on my welsh. Practice... makes welsh.

Classes have started. I'm taking mostly music classes. I am taking Math 110. The classes are going well. my goal is to get all A's.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Ok, so my family went to Regis and Kelly while we were in New York and my mom was the lucky audience member who won $500 to linens n' things and if you saw the tape and or show you saw how funny she was when she won. So, yesterday she got a call and it was the show telling her she was up for an award. Apparently they have their own Emmy awards and MY MOM is up for the real people award! The show will air on September 1st and after the show people are supposed to vote! So everyone has to get all their friends and try to help my mom win this award!!!
