LAUNDRY PARTY!

Well, Ashlee (my roommate) went home for the weekend and I am in the dorm all alone. Speaking of Ashlee, I think she thinks I’m crazy… well, my friends are crazy… well, Jason Eversull is crazy. See he and James came over the other night and were well, being themselves. I think they are just SOCIALY UNACCEPTABLE. It makes me laugh! Well anyway, they came over because it was story time. See, he and Elyse broke up and it was a bad situation. I feel for him. But anyway… the reason Ashlee probably thinks he is crazy is because he climbed into bed with her… it was kind of funny! We all laughed about it… friends laughing, having a good time. And, did I mention that Jason likes to beat me up whenever we are together? He’s like a second big brother

Well tomorrow is Saturday… you all know what that means! LAUNDRY PARTAY!!!! Matt, I hope your ready to get crazy! It’s going to be off the chain! (I never really knew what that meant but I said it! WHAT!? What are you going to do about it!?)

So, I went apartment hunting with Joey and Lucas! They are great! They crack me up! Well I think they found a place, Called Redmont Gardens. It’s an old place but it’s really nice. I hope it works out for them!

Update on the front door to Camp hall… its out to get me! I really think it is trying to kill me! It closed on me again this morning.

Ok, of the record… my Wednesdays SUCK!

First, I was walking out of my dorm and at the entrance we have an automatic door. And, that door doesn’t always work properly. So I was walking out going to class minding my own business and the door was open so I just walked on through when all of a sudden the door starts to close… and its not one of those automatic doors that if you walk through and it starts to close it will sensor you and reopen… no! Its ghetto. It will close right on you! And its not a light door… the thing is DAMN HEAVY! So to make my long story short… the door slammed on me and it hurt.

Second, ok, the first day of English class the professor was 5 minutes late and so we asked him how long we had to wait until we could leave if he hadn’t shown up. He told us that 15 minutes we should leave… IF he hadn’t shown up… so, today it was on the 15 mark and we all get up to leave and it was the day our paper was due and so we put the paper on the podium and were walking out the door when he started to walk in! AHH I was so mad he made us stay EVEN when it was the time we were supposed to leave… HE WAS LATE!!! GAR!!!

Third, I was hungry ALL day! I had a yogurt for breakfast and then went to English at 8 till 9 then went to the library till 10 then went to U101 till 11 then went to fundamentals of music till 12 then went to get a Snickers bar then went to convocations at 12:20 till 1 then had concert choir from 1- 3 then called Joey and waited for Chamber singers to start at 3:30 and when that was over I went to Church choir to eat a real meal! AHHH only a yogurt and a Snickers… I thought my stomach was going to start eating its self!

Well that is my Wednesday. Yeah I know they suck!

Anyhoot! I always forget what I want to write when I write and then I remember… anyway I guess that’s all!

ok so this headache is freaking KILLING me! ive had it sence last night! and i still have it! and no drugs are helping! ive tried Aleve and ibuprofen... .and i still have a headache.

i came home after choir at around 4:45 and Ashlee was on her bed and she told me she was tired and i was like yeah me too and i fell onto my bed and was out like a yankee at a red sox game..... i got kinda tired of using "out like a light" so i made up my own and im hoping it'll be the new thing. anyway... i was out till about 7:30pm i woke up and checked my phone and i had 5 new voicemails and 8 missed calls! i felt SO popular! untill i found out that the 8 missed calls were from only 2 people... my mom... and joey! hehe but it still made me happy because i love them!

PETERSON!!! i keep telling Joey to tell you hey so if you read this... HEY! and i know you miss me as much or more than i miss you!

well im done i think im going to go to bed... my head feels like a scrambled egg.

well another weekend of college pick'em is upon us... im just hoping that i can somewhat redeem myself from the HORRIBLE plunge to bottom i took last week. and let me tell you! it wasnt like a roller coaster! IT WASNT FUN! but i guess i was kinda like a roller coaster... but the NOT fun kind! you know, the kind that arent fun! ok im done tring to explain that to you poeple! and failing... like a roller coaser that was supposed to be fun... but ISNT!

yes folks... thats what i heard... i was walking into my dorm and i heard shots... i just told myself that they were fireworks or something so i wouldnt get scared... but then i was waiting for our broken elevators and these girls came in all out of breath and they were saying they heard shots and they ran in here... so i get tired of waiting because the elevators were broken so i took the stairs to the sixth floor and i get up there and i here the police out side.... so i went out on my balcony to see what was going on and i see all these people running and the police running after them and well yeah... this is the life i've chosen... scary

i went tailgatin' on saturday for the UAB game!!! it was so much fun! i made pasta salad and it was a huge hit! everyone loved it! we then went to the game and had a blast! everyone was going crazy! everytime we made a touch down we did the BIONSKI! (its a dance) (and a person) (but we did the dance.... not the person)..... um awkward... anyhoot... UAB won and it was great!

well the college pickem game SUCKS!!!! Ahhh the freaking game is kicking my but and it is killing me! i dont even want to talk about it.... im just... GAHHHH it makes me so mad!

well i've never been to china town BUT thats not the point... the point is that... hum damn i forgot what my point was...

i love my tuesdays and thursdays! they are the best days EVER! I get to sing ALL DAY well sort of... i have voice at 9 for 30 min. and then i have a long break to do whatever... today im going to lunch with mama sita! but then i get to go to concert choir! i love it there! everyone is so nice and its just a lot of fun!

my brother called me yesterday! it just made my day! although i was in class when he called so i didnt get to talk to him but he did leave a message! so anyhoot he was wondering if i wanted to have lunch with him or get coffee or something... i dont really like coffee BUT ill do anything to just spend time with my only brother, whom i love!

another SATURDAY! yay for football! the pick'em game is getting down to it and im not doing so hot! although i am beating chris and joey! thats really all i care about... dont get me wrong! i want to win the prize money! it just means im closer to it than they are!

oh no... we are having a fire dirll right now! i think i shoud get out of my dorm... uh WAIT WE CANT HAVE A DRILL NOW IM NOT DONE AHH ok ill hope itll save.

well the fire drill was fun i didnt stay to see what happened... i went to O'carrs with my mom and then we went shopping in homewood... i love the little shops down there... i really like this store called a.k.a girl stuff

i noticed the other day that my fundamentals of music teacher looks like Simon from american idol... he wore all black yesterday and thats when i came to my revalation....

ok so... i was walking down the SIDEWALK... you know, where im supposed to walk! on 10th ave. i was walking to chamber singers. anyway... i look over and there is a truck driving on the grass between me and the library! thats right... NOT on the road! and i just thought to myself... self, that is a car driving next to you... NOT on the road! well, the truck didnt want to drive on the grass any more so i cuts infront of me and gets on 10th and drives away... i walk a litte further and see a po po (police) and i think to myself again... self, WHERE WAS THE PO PO EARLIER!? when there was a truck on the grass. but, maybe im just crazy and the new thing to do is to drive onthe grass and try to hit little college girls that are just trying to make it in a mew place... (imagine me thinkin all of this to myself)

well another week of college pick'em is over with and i droped out of the top three. but im still in the top ten and beating Chris and Joey! Notre Dame won AGAIN! (cut to me dancing around the room.. badly i aight add and singing the fight song!) all of you suckers who thought they were going to lose.... SHAME ON YOU! oh and by the way... NEVER go for boise st. they SUCK and i hate them because they are what put me out of the top five.

classes are going good here at school and im meeting new people and im loving it here... if i didnt have to dodge cars... when i have white guy walkin'!

um i think im done... i havent really said my catch phrase lately...

its friday and im happy! today was sort of a short day i was done with class at 12 and after fundamentals of music a bunch of us were going to go to the hill center to get some chic-fil-a when i remembered that there was FREE food in the back of the humanities building so me, sam, andy, whitney, mary beth, and some other people joined while we were there but ANYHOOT! it was sooo nice to just sit under a tree and eat lunch with friends! AND! it was a beauitful day and it wasnt too hot under the tree but when the sun moved so did we... uh yeah

i went to the doctor today for a check up... im healthy

im so happy about the college football beeing here!

I love Thursdays!... I get up have a nice bowl of cinnamon toast crunch and two… I said TWO bisects. Then I go to voice lessons for about thirty minutes and then I come home and do nothing till I have to go to choir! I LOVE IT! Anyhoo

This past weekend I went to Nashvagas with Joey to see Michael Berg! The drive up to see him was very fun!.. Funny… uh all of the above. Well we missed the exit to get to Michael’s apartment… and as I'm waving bye to Nashville (as we pass it) Michael is yelling at us to turn around… very funny… if only you folks could have been there to witness it… but you cant so I'm telling it to you through my blog and we all know how good I am at that! Well anyway… we went to the park and played with a really crappy Frisbee it was funny. And we just walked around the park! It was the BEST! Thank you Michael for having us over and we’ll have to do it again some time!

Well Tuesday was mine and Joey’s one month anniversary. I’m SO happy we found each other! And it’s scary how much we have in common! BUT any hoot

my crazy family and me

my brother Jason wanted me to write about him in my blog and i thought i knew what i was going to say but i forgot what it was... but i will tell you a little story about the adventures of my brother and me.

well, when my brother and i were little, we used to make up games to keep ourselves occupied. they were clever games too. just to name a few... there was "run ball" this was where one of us had a football and had to run to the opposite side without getting tackled by the other person... that game got old for me fast because Jason would always win. we made up a lot of games inside the house because when we got home from school we were the only ones in the house. we would play a lot of tag. just running around hitting eachother... ah love... sometimes when Jason was getting tired of chasing me he would pick something up lie a ball or something and say, i give this ball the power of my it-ness and then pelt the thing at me. we also would put the adds fron the sunday paper in a circle in the living room and run around on them to see who would fall first. that was one of my favorite games. we used to play with my karaoke machine and pretend we were radio DJs and Jason would make movies and i would film and he would act and then he would yell at me because i wouldnt press pause when he was done. good times... my brother also called me Vaughn Hayes.. the baseball player... im not really sure why he called me that... i think it was because he knew it drove me crazy... but anyhoot

i have some funny stories about my sister Jillian as well...

when Jillian was little she used to drive me up the wall! especially when she was going to take a shower... ill explain... Jill would have me change the temperature in the shower because... well i dont know why... maybe it was because she was scared to get wet... in the... Hum... anyway... i would hear... JACKIE!!! IM COLLLD! and i would have to go in and change the temp for her... and then i would hear again... JACKIE!!! IM COOOOOLD! and i would yell back... JUST TURN THE KNOB TO THE LEFT AND IT WILL GET WARMER! and then she would yell back BUT IM COOOOLD! so thats my sister... i really liked scaring her too! one time she was in the shower and and our cat, Dixie, who is no longer with us... :(... was sitting on the dirty clothes hamper next to the shower looking in... then i came up and scared the cat and the cat went in the shower and came out the other side! and then you hear Jill scream! it was the funniest thing i have ever seen!

hello there folks! i'm a litte sad.

no one really comments on my blog. and that makes me sad.

anyhoo

is it just me or are elevators a very akward place..... like, i have to take an elevator to my floor in the dorm and you know you just stand there in a little box with complete strangers ... or strange people... however you want to look at it... i dont really like to make eye contact with elevator people because what if they are just phyco crazy and if you look at them then they might just follow you to your room and what happens after that... NOBODY KNOWS.... (side thought) i met a drunk guy on the elevator. he said to me, " i have an 8 AM class and im still drunk!" and then when he stumbled off the elevator he said, " It was nice talking to you!" and well if things wern't akward enough. you have to throw a drunk guy in the mix. well thoes are my elevator adventures.

well, i quit my job at the pool yesterday. i just couldnt work and do school and all so i quit. i am going to miss getting in trouble for being late. and not being able to understand my boss, and all the funny people who come to the pool... like the guy how walks against that lazy river 25 times... they lady who wears her swim cap on sideways... the guy whos speedo is so faded it almost looks invisable... the comb over guy... the seal lady (she kinda looks like a baby seal trying to learn how to swim)... and the rest of the gang but i have a new job now... im singing at Mountain Brook Baptist church for Mr. Berg... its So nice to sing with him! i love that man! but anyway thats all i have to say about that.

UAB is not a safe place to walk around. looking both ways means NOTHING! even when you have the white light guy you can still get hit by a car. OH and thoes unexpected cracks in the middle of the road that you may trip and fall in the middle of a cross walk.... cough! i did COUGH and the bugs will just fly right into your eyeballs... that happend to me too.

I went to Leonardo's for dinner last night with my mom and our friends Pat and Emily. it was very nice. we had a really great waiter i think i remember his name though. but he was really cute and very sweet. oh what was his name... oh well it'll come to me... hehe

well another one of my friends that i love has walked out of my heart and forgot to put part of it back. Zach Schultz is gone i think im going to cry! i love that guy! he's such a good friend! and he's going far in life. i can tell! but anyhoo, Zach i miss ya pal!

i have been running all over this campus. i'll explain...

i tried to register for chamber singers but it wouldnt let me because im only supposed to take 14 hours and that would make 15. so i called my advisor and he told me to come to his office to get a letter asking the registrar to let me register and so then i had to go to the Hill University Center. when i got there, there was a really long line because it was the last day to add a class without it costing anything. so i wait in that line and then i went back to the dorm. but when i got to the dorm... my campus card wouldnt open the door for me. so the guy at the desk came to let me in and then asked who was coming to sign me in and i told him that i lived there. Then he sent me to the office to ask the lady why my card wouldnt let me in... he didnt believe i lived there. anyway, i took it to the lady and she told me that i had to take it to the hill center, to the campus card office....SO i walk to the hill center and there was a line there as well...... i was stating to feel like i was at Disney world....but anyway i asked the gal at the desk what to do and ahe tested my card with the swiper thing and said it was working but i had to call a number to see why it wouldnt open the door. so i called the number given... and the lady on the phone told me i had to go to the burleson building to get the card activated. so i went all the way over there and the lady took literaly 2 seconds and was done. she then said to me "it should work now" and i went back to the dorm and joey called me and we went back to his house and then we went to applebee's to meet up with all the Godspell kids. ( Lucas, Jessica, Adam, Kevin, Dana, Amber, Wardell, and some other cool kids... Jane Bailey, Will, Morgan) we were there for a wile and then i was getting tired so we left and joey took me back to the dorm and i went to bed.

this morning i had class at 8. it was kinda hard to get out of bed but i got over it. i got out 30 min early from my UNIV 101 and Fund. Music class. that was nice.

well i had a nice birthday! i had music orientation and then i went to my party and we had a BLAST! but anyway. im 19 now! yay!

tonight is going to be the last time i see a lot of my friends... well Kierstyn is the only important one that i really care about! im going to miss her SO much! she's the only one who knows what im thinking and knows how to get me to talk about things and well im going to miss handing out with her and going to the pool and going shopping and making virgin margaritas and well i have to stop typing before i start to cry!

im moved in!

Well folks, i've moved in to my dorm. I’m down here in camp hall (that’s right behind the rec center) life is good. My roommate is very nice. Her name is Ashlee from Foley. Our dorm is small… go figure! But it’s really nice... except for the smell and the dead bugs in the sink. Well the last couple of days have been not so eventful. But whatever! Let’s see…

I worked this week. But we closed the pool a lot because of storms. (Yes we close an indoor pool because of storms… not rain but thunder ad lightning) anyhoot… that job is so boring it isn’t even funny. The other day I was on stand for about an hour and then the other six I was playing solitaire or surfing the net. Yep, that’s a UAB job for ya. I don’t know how UAB makes money when they pay people to sit and so literally NOTHING! But I don’t really care because im one of those people who get paid to do nothing so it works for me. But some people at the pool are really rude to the lifeguards. Which I don’t think is a very good idea because what if you drown? That lifeguard that you were just rude to and talked to with no respect may save you… but then again… may not. If I were a patron I would be nice to the people who were watching over me, making sure I safe. BUT! That’s just me.

I no longer live in Meadow Brook, I still have the most boring job ever, I’m dating someone now, and I’m loving every minute of it!

well... its been two days since i wrote this blog so i guess i will tell you what i have done in the past two days. well as you know i moved in on saturday. that night i went to Joeys house and watched snatch... it was a good movie, funny. then sunday i had bonding time with my roommate... we watched the Brat Camp marathon. then i went to church. after church my parents, Joey and I all went to dinner at a place in brookwood. (i dont really know the name of the place and if i did i wouldn't be able to spell it anyway.) dinner was really nice! after dinner Joey and i went over to Peterson's house and i got to see all the godspell people that i missed so much! then i came home (to the dorm) and tried to work on my internet but was just too tired and went to bed. so this morning i finally got the internet working.

BUT oh well.... i spent the night at Kierstyn's and the next morning Jason E. called from Chic-fil-a asking where i was... i usually i go to mass wednesday mornings at 6:20. but i didnt and he called and spoke hateful words and woke me and Kierstyn up. then i went to work and was SO bored. but thats my work for ya. that night i watched Get Shorty. it was a good movie... i thought it was funny...

thursday i went to lunch with my mom and i was going downtown to get a shot for school... so my mom and i go to the building taht we were told to go to and they told us that they dont give the shot there and that we should go to my regular doctor. so we go to the car... my mom parked in a tow away zone and i told her but she was like we're only going in for a second so we get to the car and there is a sticker on her window and a boot on her tire... so the guy who put it on there was sitting in his car waiting for us to come back out so she had to pay $35 to get the boot off. then we went to get some lunch... after she droped me off at my car i went to best buy to get a mitch hedberg cd but i got a Kelly Clarkson cd and Mean Girls and Saving Silverman... so i still have to get mitch... but anyway im in the check out line and Chris Josof comes up behind me... it was weird to see him... i havent seen him in a few weeks and it was just weird i dont know why... but anyway so then i go home and upload kelly on my ipod... then i went to meet Jane Bailey and Jessica clark at Leonardo's to see Joey... he works there... but i get there and Jane is there and we go in to wait for Jessica and we were there for about 30 min. when Jessica called and told us she was leaving her house... so we wait for her... she gets there and we order and then we see Lucas and Morgan walking up and yeah that was weird... but whatever... so we stay there talking and such for like 3 hours! we were there till they closed and Jessica and Morgan sang a song and then Joey sang a song... haha...so then Jessica and i weere going to see a movie and then joey was off so we asked him to go with us and we get to the summit and jessica gets a call from her friend who was going to hang out with her that night came to pick her up so Joey and I went to see Mr & Mrs Smith... great movie, very funny... so then ofter the movie Joey drives me back to my car at Leonardo's and i went home and went to bed.

this morning i went to the doctor to get that shot that i didnt get yesterday... so my mom and i go and i get the shot... the nurse didnt put the band-aid in the right spot.. i just thought that was really funny. so we're leaving the doctor and we get in the elevator and i starts to move down when it gets stuck. so to scare my mom i start shaking the elevator and so she starts yelling.... it was really quite funny... so were in there for about 10 or 15 min. till we start moving again.. and my mom told me that the shot was cursed. so that is the story of the shot from hell with a few side notes.

well Godspell is over and im sad. Strike was sad. i helped Alan with the sound stuff as we danced to krunk music and quoted Mitch Hedberg. then when i was dont with that and had nothing to do...Jessica and i were the supervisers... well at least we pretended to be. we stole lucas and kaylen's elevator and when we got to our floor, Joey was there and he scared the living daylights out of us... so now i have to come up with a plan to get him back! muah hahaha. so after strike we brought everything to JCCHS tears were shed and then we went to have a party in bruno's. not really we just had to get some things before going to petersons house. we watched army of darkness. a real trippy movie. i dont think i really got it. im not even sure i got the point.

yesterday was an interesting day. i got to work at about 11:30. (they took me off the morning shift...5:30-11:30...because i was late twice and i got written up... and 3-5 strikes and your out) so i get there and my boss is all hyper. he's the kind of boss who makes you do things to make himself look busy. so he tells me i need to scrub the hot tub... im a poet and didnt even realize it. but anywhat after that... im on stand contemplating life... when you gaurd a four foot pool that only college kids swim in then you get kinda bored... so im sitting there and the fire alarm goes off and so i get everyone out of the pool and on to the sidewalk and there is a sight for ya... old men in speedo's on the side of Univ. Blv. so anyway... we're out there for about 20 min. or so when we find out that it was just dust from construction. so we get everyone back inside and then that was about as exciting as it gets at work. lets see.... after work i went to OLS to practice singing for the Charismatic conference that will be held friday and saturday. so i was there till about 8ish and then i went home. i was going to watch The Jerk with my parents but they both bailed on me and so i watched it by myself. it was the first time i had ever seen it. it was really funny. after the movie i wen to go check my facebook and friendster and such. rebecca is the only one to write a testamonial on my friendster. but anyway i got on AIM... something i rarely do and Joey sent me an IM and we talked till about 3:30am for about 4 hours! i dont think i have ever talked to someone that long online before. so anywho... after that i went to bed.

this morning i got a call from Jason Eversull at about 6 and he was just talking not realizing i wasnt going to remember what he said in 20 min. so... i think he called twice. and then i got a call from kierstyn at about 11:30 telling me to get my butt out of bed so we could go to the pool. so i did what i was told and we went to the pool. then we went back to her house and i made hot dogs and she made cookies. then we watched soap operas. Kierstyn had to be at work at five so she droped me off and she went to work and now im writting a blog.

tonight its poker night at kierstyn's and so thats where i will be tonight.... lots of poker, pretzels, and of course... sunkist... my downfall.

i guess thats all i have to say to you people...

well i have news... i dont like to say good news or bad news because some people take news differently. so here is my news. one of my really good friends has been trying to get ahold of me but he just calls at really bad times and so i called him back to see what he wanted and he told me that he was moving to Texas on the 8th of August. well i was shocked. he said he was going to take a year off of school and go work for his uncle. thats cool, good for him. and so i told him that he cant leave untill he sees me. Then he just started yelling at me saying, THATS NOT UP TO ME! IM NOT CALLING YOU BECAUSE YOU DONT ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONE! well this made me very sad because i cant help that when he calls me im busy. like the other day he called right in the middle of Godspell and after the show i saw that i had a missed call. and so i call back the next day because it was late. so hes leaving and hes mad at me and i sad because i cant help it.

lets see...

wednesday... i got up and i went to work. then i went to lunch con mi madre... thats spanish for with my mother... we went to Jim n' Nicks in five points. i love going to lunch with my mom because when its just the two of us we get to talk about everything. we dont always get to do that when someone else is with us. after lunch i went home and took a nap... i miss nap time in kindergarden when they had all the awards like best in math, best in sharing, best in spelling, best in helping. well i got the best rester. thats right. and i was darn good at it to you give me a mat and i'll sleep till its snack time... after my nap i took a shower and got ready for Godspell. everyone did a fantastic job! after the show we all went to Applebee's. Jane Bailey was there! i missed her so much! and so then i took Adam to his friends house and then went home. my brother called me that night at about 1:30 telling me that i locked him out. well he doesnt live with us anymore and how am i supposed to know when he is going to be coming home. so i roll out of bed and let him in.

thursday... i went to lunch with a good friend that i havent seen in FOREVER! we went to wings. it was very good but our waiter was really weird he asked us if we had done the check yet and my friend was like no not yet and the waiter just stood there and waited for him to put the money in. and i think i have bad luck with waiters because at applebees i couldn't get the waitress' attention to get me more water. and at wings it was the same deal. i'd ask him for some more tea and it never came... THE TEA NEVER CAME! well anyway after lunch we just went and sat on a bench and talked for about and hour. then after that i went home and did laundry. then i went to Godspell and after the show we went to applebees. then i went home.

last night i had te weirdest dream EVER! it started out that i was at work but it didnt look like my work. and i was just walking around when it turned into the beach and my mom and the Ruths were there and ashley ruth was going to throw a vollyball to my brother when she got distracted and started yelling at someone and so i picked it up and hit it to my brother. then it started to rain and the beach turned into this sort of lunch room deal and it was where people waited to go see Godspell and Dr. and Mrs. Rosko came in and Tim was with them and he was smoking. his parents asked him when he started smoking and he was just like i've always smoked. it was just weird.

so today im going to be doing laundry again. and well thats about it... no my mom will call me to tell me something i dont need to know or ask me something because she is working so hard at her job. love you mom!

Godspell opened and it was a lovely show and everyone did so well. i only got yelled at once. (i'm just good like that) and after the show we all went to Joey's house for a cast party. it was very nice, but sadly i had to leave early. and im sorry about that but i had fun none the less. i got SOO lost trying to get out of the neighborhood and i tried to call joey but he didnt answer. so i tried to call Francesca. and she didnt answer and so matt and i had to try to find our way out and so after about 20 min. we found the way out.

Saturday, july 23

i didnt do much saturday. i sang at Jennifer Leon's wedding. it was soo lovely! she was beautiful. and after the wedding i went to see wedding crashers. it was a funny movie! vince vaughn is one of my favorite actors. then i spent the night with Kierstyn

Sunday, july 24

Kierstyn and i got up to go to mass and St. Mark's. after mass i went home and to change and then i went to do the Godspell thing. (i learned that i missed my Godspell friends while we were apart.) everyone did a fantastic job and after the show lucas, wardell and i went to get something to eat and then we went to peterson's house and watched Exorcist: beginning (i dont do very well with scary movies and even though they kept telling me that it wasnt scary they just didnt understand that i could still get scared.) Joey was supposed to let me know when the scary parts were coming but he let me down. i think i even screamed at one point. but it was i good movie.

Monday, july 25

i got up and went to work at 11:30 and then got off at 5:30 and my mom came by to get me (i still didnt have my car) mom took me to get my car and then i went home and Kierstyn called to tell me that Chris Josof was having a birthday party for Alex Dent so Kierstyn and i went. and there were alot of perole there that i havent seen all summer! like... Mark joseph, Colby, Dino, Lee, Louie, Jenny, ashley noa, mikael saway, murph, sketch (michael heitz), and greg so that was good to see all of them and i was sad to leave all of them but i had to go early because i had to get up for work the next morning. so i got home and set the alarm and all and then i heard it going off after i got upstairs and i thought oh its jason and then it just started going crazy and i went downstairs and jason was in the driveway with a uhaul and he was like jackie go put shoes on and help me unload. and i was like jason i have to go to bed! i have to get up early and he was like well it will only tak a few min. so i do and like and hour later i was like JASON!! I HAVE TO GO TO BED! so i went to bed

well i definitely slept through my alarm clock and was late to work. so i got written up again. and after work i Kierstyn and i took our moms to lunch at the cheesecake factory. it was very good! and now im typing to you fine people .

well i dont normaly write two blogs in a row but i feel compeled to do so.

my day yesterday was a very....
well no words could describe... after i wrote my blog yesterday i went to finish reading my book (The Godfather) it was one of the best books i have ever read. i had to go into work at 11:30 and i was going to leave an hour early so i could stop and get some lunch and parking is horribal at UAB at that time of day...so i get in my car and start it up and put it in reverse and then...

it shuts off.

thats right wont start.

so i try to call my mom cant get ahold of her.

i then called my moms friend and co-worker casey (they have offices right next to each other.) i got ahold of casey to ask her if she has seen my mom but it was a no. but she said she'd tell her to call me when she got in.

i then try to call the Ruths, our neighbors. no answer.

so my last chance. my brother. i call him up... i think i woke him up. i asked him if he was working today and he said no and i told him that my car died and he came over to see what the problem was... but couldnt figure it out. so he was like take my car because i dont want you to be late. so i drive him back to the Ruths house (he lives in their basement) and i go to work.

work was the same ole boring work it always is.

after work i was walking to my car when i got a message from my mom saying call me when you get off work. i do so. and my mom says HER car died and i need to come pick her up.

at this point in the day its 5:40 and i have to be at Godspell rehersal at 6. so i go and my mom said she would be waiting for me in the front of her building. go and shes not there yet and i wait 10 min. till she comes out. so then i i have ten min. to get to rehersal and so i try to book it overe there. and i do and my mom takes the car home.

at rehersal leah asked me to fill in for follow spot because the guy who was doing it quit. so im all excited because thats an important job and they asked me to do it. so anywho i get up there and peterson sends up jpoole to do follow spot and leah was like ive got jackie up there and peterson was like jackie wont be here friday and saturday. then j poole was like i wont bee here for the second week. so we came up with.. we will tag team it. it was the most excited i have ever been...at rehersal.
well i guess thats all i have to say about that.
